Born in New York and raised in Texas, Dr. David Shin eventually moved to Philadelphia to pursue his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his studies, he went on to complete a general practice residency at the Virtua Health Care Center in Camden. Dr. Shin's post-doctoral endodontic residency was completed at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he was recognized for his proficiency in surgical endodontics with an award from the American Association of Endodontists.
